AFRICA GAMING EXPO (AGE) SETS THE AGENDA FOR THE FUTURE OF GAMING AND FINTECH IN AFRICA

Africa’s leading Gaming and Fintech conference and exhibition, has announced key details for Africa Gaming Expo (AGE), #AGE2O26, reinforcing its position as the continent’s definitive platform for industry dialogue, policy engagement, and investment advancement.

Now in its third edition, AGE2O26 will convene regulators, gaming operators, fintech innovators, policymakers, technology providers, and investors from Africa and across global markets. The expo reflects the continued maturation of Africa’s gaming and digital economy and its growing relevance within the global ecosystem.

AGE2O26 will be hosted under the theme “Africa’s Gaming Market: Frontier to Prominence,” highlighting Africa’s transition from an emerging market to an increasingly influential force in global gaming and fintech. Since inception, AGE has maintained a strong Pan-African focus, serving as a platform for shaping industry standards, encouraging cross-border collaboration, and supporting sustainable sector growth.

AGE has recorded consistent year-on-year growth, with participation from exhibitors and delegates at the 2025 edition doubling that of the previous year. This growth underscores increasing confidence from regulators, operators, investors, and technology providers in AGE as a credible and impactful industry forum.

AGE2O26 will take place at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, and will run over four days beginning 24 March 2026. The programme will feature high-level keynote addresses, expert-led panel discussions, expanded exhibitions, and structured networking sessions designed to support policy alignment, innovation, and capital inflow into Africa’s gaming and fintech sectors.

Key focus areas for AGE2O26 include gaming regulation and compliance, fintech and digital payments, artificial intelligence, esports, responsible gaming, market trends, and emerging technologies. Interactive exhibitions and live showcases will provide hands-on engagement with new products and solutions shaping the industry.​

A major new initiative debuting at AGE2O26 is AGE AfriPitch, a structured platform created to connect startups and innovators with potential investors, further strengthening AGE’s role as a bridge between innovation and capital.

The confirmed speaker roster features senior government officials, international regulators, and leading global industry experts, including Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Mark Pace, President of the International Gaming Standards Association; Michele Magro of the Malta Esports Association; Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe, Chief Executive Officer of the African iGaming Alliance (AiA); and renowned entrepreneur and high-tech specialist Peter Mebert, alongside regulators and senior executives from across Africa and other strategic global markets.
