A woman has narrated how her father beat her up and broke open her head because she delayed when he sent her on an errand.
She explained that he asked her to buy groundnuts for him and insisted he wanted big ones.
In a bid to get the exact type of groundnut he asked for, she spent a long time in the market.
When she returned home, she discovered that her father already bought groundnuts for himself.
In anger, she said her father beat her up like an “armed robber”, stomped on her head, and used the pointy part of a high-heeled shoe to break her head open.
He did nothing as she bled and it was her younger sister who rushed her to the chemist, the woman said.
She also shared how her father verbally abused her and put a dent in her self esteem.
