The spokesperson to the FCT Minister, Lere Olayinka, has berated the Alaafin of Oyo, for moving from his sitting position at the 91birthday church thanksgiving for billionaire businessman, Sir Gabriel Igbinedion.
Sir Igbinedion who turned 91 on September 8, had a church thanksgiving and extended an invitation to the Alaafin who arrived early for the thanksgiving and was ushered to the front seat.

When the celebrant arrived, he was also ushered to the front seat but before he made his way to the pew, the monarch who was already seated was made to move from the edge of the pew where he was seated to the middle of the pew so the celebrant and his wife, Lady Cherry, could enter and take their seat.
Olayinka who shared a video that captured this moment, argued that it was bad for the monarch to be made to move his seat. He wondered if there wasn’t any other seat the celebrant could have sat on. According to him, no one would have tried this with the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
Olayinka’s post reads
‘’Honestly, this is so very bad!
How can Alaafin of Oyo, Iku Baba Yeye be made to stand up and leave his seat?
Was it that there were no other seats?
No one could dare do this to Alaafin Lamidi Adeyemi Omo Olukuewu.”
