Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Barca Universal, the 27-year-old Nigeria international is among several strikers the Blaugrana are tracking as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Atlético Madrid forward Julian Alvarez remains the top candidate to succeed Lewandowski, but uncertainty surrounds a possible move for the Argentina international, prompting Barcelona to explore alternative options for the No. 9 position.
Osimhen is one of the names on the table, though reports suggest he is not the leading choice. After two successful seasons at Galatasaray, he has scored 56 goals in 70 games, with a contract valid until 2029.
While Osimhen’s profile is highly valued, questions remain over his temperament, which contributed to his exit from Napoli in 2024.
Other forwards previously linked to Barcelona, such as Dusan Vlahovic and Benjamin Sesko, are no longer being considered. Vlahovic, despite being available on a free transfer, is not seen as a fit to spearhead the attack. Sesko moved from RB Leipzig to Manchester United for €76.5 million but has yet to live up to expectations.
