Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), in collaboration with local vigilantes, have arrested two suspected terrorists in Digare Village in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The suspects were apprehended at about 7:30 p.m. on March 22, 2026 during an operation based on actionable intelligence.
The arrested suspects are currently in custody, while investigations are ongoing to determine their level of involvement in terrorist activities and possible links to other criminal networks.
Military said efforts were being intensified to sustain operations aimed at denying terrorists freedom of action in the area.
