A Fulani lady has sparked reactions online after sharing incidents she says reflect growing concerns around clashes involving herders.
According to her, one case involved a Fulani man who allegedly entered a woman’s compound, cut down a tree, and fed it to his cows. When questioned, she claimed he insisted he had the right to do so because his cows were hungry and reportedly refused to leave even after being confronted.
She said the situation escalated after intervention attempts, adding that the incident was later linked to retaliation in the Marhaba attack.
She also shared another account from a friend who claimed that despite fencing his property, herders still brought cows to feed on his crops and even knocked on his gate asking for access.
