Actor and comedian, Okey Bakassi and his wife are celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, the entertainer shared a heartfelt message recounting their journey since tying the knot in Port Harcourt, the city where they first met.
“On this day 24 years ago, we went before God, family, and friends to exchange marital vows in Port Harcourt, the city we first met. We were young, excited, and oblivious to the enormity of the challenges ahead… The bills piled, Covid-19 happened… too many challenges. But with the blessings of three kids, the grace of God, the love of family, and the support of friends, success prevailed.”
Okey went on to shower his wife with praise, thanking her for making their journey look easy and for being his rock through the years.
“My darling wife, thanks for making this journey look easy. You’re the best. Let’s hold hands and walk into the sunset, confident that the sun will always rise and we’ll still have each other. I love you from now till eternity. Happy 24th anniversary, Zizi.” ❤️
