Teacher suspended after allegedly showing Charlie Kirk assassination video to 10-Year-Olds, calling k!lling ?deserved?

A Toronto public school teacher has been suspended after allegedly showing students as young as 10 a video of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk’s assassination — and telling them he “deserved” to die.

The incident occurred on Thursday, September 11, in a French immersion class at Corvette Junior Public School, where the teacher was filling in as a supervisor. Several students, reportedly traumatized after being forced to watch the violent footage multiple times, went home and told their parents.

“Parents subsequently reached out to school administrators, who placed the teacher on leave starting September 12,” a source told the Toronto Sun.

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Prosecutors say Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old trade school student from Utah, fired a single round from a rooftop, killing the Turning Point USA founder in front of 3,000 people. Robinson has been charged with aggravated murder.

The suspended teacher allegedly used the assassination video to deliver a speech about anti-fascism and transgender issues, while insisting Kirk “deserved for this to occur.”

In a letter sent home Friday to families of affected students, Principal Jennifer Koptie described the allegations as “extremely troubling and completely disturbing.” The letter confirmed that portions of the video were shown to grades 5 and 6 — typically children aged 10 and 11.

“The teacher has been relieved of all teaching responsibilities pending the outcome of the investigation and will not be at the school,” the letter stated.

The Toronto District School Board said it has launched a full investigation into the matter.
