Suspected armed robbers have k!lled a student of the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP) Bauchi, Samuel Mbami.
It was gathered that the assailants broke into an off campus lodge at about 3 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 and attacked Mbami and another student.
During the struggle, Mbami, an ND2 Mass Communication student, was st@bbed in the stomach and he later d!ed from excessive bleeding.
The Students’ Union Government (SUG) in a statement signed by its president, Usman Aliyu, condemned the k!lling, describing it as “tragic and senseless.”
The union called for a thorough investigation, stronger security presence on and around campuses, and urged students to remain calm while prioritising their safety.
