The Super Falcons of Nigeria have officially qualified for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2026.
The current holders of the continental title booked their place after a convincing performance over two legs against Benin.
After a 2–0 victory in Cotonou, the Falcons sealed their qualification with a 1–1 draw in Abeokuta on Tuesday, October 28, sealing their 16th consecutive qualification for the continent’s premier women’s competition.
The result earned the reigning African champions a 3-1 aggregate victory over two legs.
Nigeria, ten-time African champions, has remarkably qualified for every edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations since its inception. They now join hosts Morocco as the first teams confirmed for next year’s tournament.
