The festival featured two bulls released onto the streets at different times. The first bull ran at 12:30 PM without incident, but the second, named Mosquetero, charged through the town at 6:30 PM and struck a middle-aged spectator. Video footage shows the man trying to escape by clinging to a railing attached to a building, but he was knocked to the ground and gored by the bull.
He was immediately rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The tragic incident highlights the inherent dangers of Spain’s traditional bull runs, which often result in serious injuries or fatalities for participants and spectators alike.
