Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Kevin Federline, has alleged that their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, have once again stopped speaking to the pop star after witnessing disturbing things while visiting her home.
Federline, 47, made the claims during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, saying the boys were “terrified” and that one of them even told him, “Mom is going to die.”
“[Britney] saw one of my sons one day this year, and he decided not to go back over there because of what he saw,” Federline said, referring to 20-year-old Sean Preston.
He added that 19-year-old Jayden also stopped visiting her a few months ago, saying, “That’s not my story to tell — it’s my sons’. But the things they’ve seen are shocking.”
The revelation comes shortly after troubling footage showed the singer looking unsteady at a restaurant and swerving into the wrong lane on a highway, amid reports that Federline’s new memoir, You Thought You Knew, has sent her into a “tailspin.”
Federline told Piers Morgan that his sons were worried for their mother’s life, adding, “One of my sons called me and said, ‘I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid Mom is going to die.’”
When asked if substance abuse was part of their concern, he replied, “Absolutely.”
Federline insisted that he isn’t trying to bring Britney down, saying he wants her to rebuild her relationship with their sons: “This isn’t about attacking her. This is about telling the truth and trying to build her back up.”
The pair, who were married from 2004 to 2007, share joint custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Following their split and Britney’s 13-year conservatorship, Federline took primary custody and later moved the boys to Hawaii.
In his memoir, Federline alleged that Britney once punched their son, knowingly gave Jayden shellfish despite his allergy, and even watched her children sleep while holding a knife. He also accused her of using cocaine while breastfeeding.
Britney’s representatives have denied the allegations, describing them as attempts to “profit off her.”
A spokesperson for the 43-year-old singer told Daily Mail: “With Kevin’s book out, once again he and others are profiting off her now that child support has ended. All she cares about are her kids and their well-being.”
Britney herself responded online, accusing Federline of “gaslighting” her and writing, “I 100 percent beg to differ.”
In a follow-up post on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote: “Why is HE so angry? The boy hates me, and it is deep anger to literally say the things he is saying.”
