Know about ‘Renard Robinson Slams Girlfriend daughter to death’ In relation to the 1-year-old girl’s death on Sunday, a Louisiana couple was detained on Monday.
After St. John Parish police responded to complaints of a child not breathing, Keaura Dillon’s infant was confirmed dead at a LaPlace residence. She had bruises on her face and body, according to police and medical personnel, KNOE reports.
The daughter of Dillion was found to have died from blunt force trauma, and the coroner classified it as a homicide. According to KNOE, Dillion’s boyfriend Renard Robinson, 23, admitted to repeatedly slamming her on the ground when she wouldn’t stop weeping.
Robinson allegedly put the 1-year-old back to bed after knocking her into bed posts, according to St. John Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre.
Before dialing 911, Robinson claimed he told Dillon what he had done to his daughter.
The Advocate claims that Robinson initially reported to police that Dillon’s daughter was being rough-housed by another child. Authorities found her injuries to be inconsistent with his account, though.
Dillon is accused of being an accessory after the fact, while Robinson is charged with second-degree murder. They are still in prison.
According to KNOE, once Robinson and Dillon were taken into custody, a 4-year-old kid who also resides in the house was also taken into protective custody.
