Reality TV star Porsha Williams has accused her ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, of failing to meet court-ordered financial obligations, alleging he owes her nearly $700,000.
According to legal documents, Williams claims Guobadia has fallen behind on payments for marital residence expenses, alimony, attorney’s fees and property taxes. She told the court his noncompliance amounts to “a knowing, intentional, and ongoing disregard for this Court’s authority and the Final Judgment it issued.”
Williams, who divorced Guobadia in June after less than two years of marriage, says the outstanding amount totals $667,359.55. She has asked the court to hold him in contempt and suggested he could settle the debt by relinquishing his share of equity in their former marital home.
In response, Guobadia told TMZ he only learned of the new filings through media reports. He argued that the divorce case is now under review at the Georgia Court of Appeals, following a timely appeal of the judge’s decision. He dismissed the fresh filings, saying, “Until then, those filings are tantamount to toilet tissue for the public’s consumption.”
The pair married in 2022, but Williams filed for divorce in February 2024, shortly after Guobadia was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. At the time, Williams said her focus was on moving forward with her family, adding that the split was not connected to her estranged husband’s immigration issues.
The dispute over payments marks the latest chapter in the high-profile separation. Guobadia has not issued further comment.
