Rapper Nino Breeze has been released on bond after facing a federal cannabis-related charge during the Christmas season.

According to his attorneys, Bradford Cohen and Mark Rankin, Breeze surrendered on Monday, December 22, to the United States Marshals Service at the federal courthouse in Tampa. He was charged with conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to distribute.

The lawyers said the rapper was released following a court hearing after agreeing to post a $100,000 cash bond and provide an additional $100,000 in property as collateral.

During the bond hearing, the presiding judge reportedly referenced Breeze’s emerging music career and encouraged him to continue progressing professionally. His legal team said he would be spending Christmas at home.

“Nino will be home for Christmas,” the lawyers said, adding that they look forward to reviewing the evidence and resolving the matter through trial.

Breeze is currently signed to Maybach Music Group, the label founded by rapper Rick Ross. The label released Breeze’s latest EP earlier this year. The case remains pending, with further court proceedings expected in the coming months.
