Newsypeople – President Bola Tinubu has just arrived in Abuja after a busy three-day visit to Equatorial Guinea, which marks his 22nd foreign trip since he assumed office around 15 months ago.
His Gulfstream jet landed at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 6:30 PM on Friday, where he was welcomed by prominent government officials, including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike.
During his trip, Tinubu and Equatorial Guinea’s President Teodoro Mbasogo signed an important agreement regarding the Gulf of Guinea Pipeline Project.
This agreement is anticipated to improve collaboration in gas exploration and job creation, addressing key areas such as legislative frameworks, ownership, and the transportation of natural gas.

At a dinner held in his honor, Tinubu underscored the importance of African leaders addressing challenges like tribalism and healthcare in order to retain talent and skills within the continent.
