Bam Margera has agreed to pay $2,500 per month in child support to his estranged wife, Nikki Boyd, following negotiations between both parties.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the payments are scheduled to begin on January 1 and are for the couple’s eight-year-old son, Phoenix Margera. The documents also state that Boyd has agreed to provide and maintain the child’s healthcare coverage.
The agreement marks a significant reduction from Boyd’s earlier request of $15,000 per month, which was based on claims that Margera’s net worth stood at approximately $55 million. The revised figure suggests both sides reached a compromise after prolonged legal discussions.
The couple’s separation has been marked by controversy, including Margera’s earlier assertion that their 2013 wedding was not legally valid. He claimed the ceremony took place in Iceland, where neither party was a resident, and alleged that no formal paperwork was completed in the United States.
Margera’s long-running struggles with substance abuse further complicated the dispute, with Boyd and her legal representatives previously insisting that his contact with Phoenix should be supervised due to concerns over alcohol use.
Margera has since said he is sober and credited his recovery to his current wife, Dannii Marie, whom he married in 2024. He has stated that her firm stance on sobriety played a key role in his efforts to remain alcohol-free.
