The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two individuals in connection with the k!lling of a 25-year-old man, Friday Isah, in Mubi North Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson for the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, April 12, 2026 said the incident occurred during a birthday party at Digil Ward.
According to the PPRO, the suspects allegedly st@bbed the victim with a knife and fled the scene.
“Upon receipt of the report, operatives of the command attached to the Mubi North Divisional Headquarters promptly rushed to the scene and conveyed the victim to Medical Facility, for medical attention,” the statement read
“Unfortunately, he was later confirmed d3ad by a medical doctor.
“The suspects, Samson Elisha,19 years of Giye Digil, Mubi North LGA, and Ayuba Stephen of Dagala Digil, 21 years of Mubi North LGA, have since been arrested, while investigation is ongoing
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Umar Hassan, frowned at the ugly incident and directed the SCID to take over the case and ensure a diligent investigation and prosecution of the suspects.
“The Command reaffirms its commitment to ensuring justice and urges residents to remain law-abiding and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.”
