Why Was Omobolanle Raheem Shot And Killed By A Nigerian Police Officer?
On Sunday morning, the deceased was returning from a Christmas church service when he was shot at Ajah Under Bridge in Lagos state.
After the news broke, multiple investigators worked together to reveal that the individual who shot her at the bridge moved her body before other police arrived.
They also stated that it was done as a group effort, with no one Police officer involved in the case.
When the police shot a young lady, they were on morning duty. The inquiry is ongoing, and each of them has been interviewed numerous times. However, the victim has not yet been arrested.
Police informed them that she was shot inside her car while driving with her husband.
Her spouse was standing next to her, so he couldn’t see who shot her. They were on their way to the car park.
“The police ordered them to park, and they required the vehicle in front to move so they could park comfortably, and instantly the Police officer shot at a close range right into her chest,” the victim’s husband confirmed.
Two Policeman has been in custody since the incident happened. They have not revealed any information regarding the case.
Many concerned people posted a tweet mentioning they were not safe at the hand of Police. A month or two ago, a policeman attached to Ajiwe Police Station also shot an ordinary person.
