Ogun state go prosecute DJ Chicken over multiple road crashes

The Ogun State Ministry of Justice has announced plans to prosecute  TikTok content creator Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, after a string of road traffic incidents that have heightened concerns about public safety. The move follows a November 1, 2025, crash in Sagamu, Ogun State, where Abiodun allegedly rammed into two motorcycles, leaving a rider and a female passenger seriously injured. According to a statement released on Monday via the state governments official X handle, witnesses reported that Abiodun tried to flee the scene before being stopped by onlookers. The press release read, While it may be reasonable to allow crash victims get compensation from persons who have driven recklessly and to resolve road traffic collisions as a civil wrong, some road users are special dangers to society and should be held to account under criminal law.
