Nnamdi Kanu moved from DSS custody to Sokoto prison - Lawyer

Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, Aloy Ejimakor, says the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader has been moved from the DSS custody to a correctional centre in Sokoto

“MAZI NNAMDI KANU has just been moved from DSS Abuja to the correctional facility (prison) in Sokoto; so far away from his lawyers, family, loved ones and wellwishers,” the lawyer wrote on X.

This comes barely 24 hours after Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court Abuja found him guilty of terrorism offences and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
