A Nigerian lady, Joy Solomon, has recalled when she blocked a man she was on talking stage with after he tried to invalidate her hard work and success.
The importer, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, said the man suggested that a sugar daddy sponsors her business.
“I once blocked a talking stage because he said my business must be sponsored by a sugar daddy,” she wrote.
“If your first thought when you see a successful woman is “which man is behind her?” You don’t deserve access to her.
“Women can build. Women can fund themselves. And yes women can block nonsense.”
