The Nigerian Army have carried out coordinated raids on criminal hideouts in the Oshodi and Mushin areas of Lagos State.
The operations, led by Brigade Commander Brigadier General Matthew Oyekola, were carried out in collaboration with local vigilante groups and officers of the Man-O-War.
An officer said, “The army has been raiding the miscreants in Oshodi and Mushin. These are the hoodlums who spoke hemp and hid under bridges.
“They are smokers and gamblers in the daytime and armed robbers at night. The Brigade recently raided a number of them and handed them over to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.”
