An Ohio woman faces multiple charges after police said she left her seven children in a car while she went inside a gambling business.
Racqual Hicks, 37, was arrested Thursday and pleaded not guilty Friday to seven counts of child endangerment.
Police said Hicks brought her children, ages 15, 13, 10, 6, 2, 1 and 11 months, to Luna’s Internet Cafe and left them in the vehicle for about 40 minutes.
Authorities also said Hicks was driving with a suspended license and that some of the children were not in car seats.
Hicks was released on her own recognizance and ordered to wear a GPS monitor.
A future court date was not immediately available.
