Abbey Clancy opened up about her wildest fantasy during a candid episode of her podcast with husband Peter Crouch. In the latest episode of their podcast, The Therapy Crouch, the couple spoke with s3x educator Alix Fox and discussed the growing popularity of fantasy-themed s3x toys.
During the conversation, the couple were shown some unusual fantasy-style products, including one designed to resemble a tentacle. Fox explained that the trend toward fantasy themes has grown due to popular television series and books.
“I think more people, because of certain TV shows and books and erotica, are into the idea of fantasy and monsters and minotaurs,” she said. Clancy admitted some of the products were a bit intimidating to her and described the type of fantasy she prefers.
“They’re a bit scary, them. I want the prince on the horse more,” she said. Fox responded by praising Clancy’s openness about discussing s3x while still being clear about her personal preferences.
“I love that you’re so in touch with what you like and what you don’t, but you’re still remaining curious. That’s a great attitude,” she said. Clancy also clarified that she is comfortable discussing intimate topics. “Look, I’m not a prude. I’m open to all discussions,” she said.
Fox added that attitudes toward s3x have become more open in recent years, describing the concept of “s3x positivity” as focusing on pleasure, exploration and personal boundaries. “I think some people misunderstand that in order to be s3x positive, you have to be positively up for anything. You don’t. You’re allowed to have your own tastes, your own boundaries,” she said.
The discussion also highlighted the growing popularity of fantasy-themed adult products. According to retailer Lovehoney, sales of such items have reportedly increased by 244 percent.
Fox said the popularity of fantasy themes has been influenced by entertainment such as the TV series Game of Thrones and fantasy romance novels like A Court of Thorns and Roses. She explained that some people are drawn to the dramatic and imaginative nature of fantasy scenarios.
“For some people, the frightening aspect of the monster will be the thing that appeals to them. Because it’s exciting to imagine that you’re being ravished and taken over by something so much bigger than you and stronger,” she said.
Clancy also joked about how television shows had influenced her own fantasies, revealing she once imagined her husband dressing up as a Viking after watching the series Vikings. “I would love you to get jealous. The only time you got jealous was when I was watching that Viking thing,” she said.
The couple, who married in 2006 and share four children together, have become increasingly open about their personal lives since launching their podcast in 2023.
