A Florida man has been arrested after he allegedly ran over a foot model he met on a dating app because she would not let him sniff her feet
Elmoncy Sercle, 28, is accused of hitting the woman he met on Seeking.com with an SUV, according to an arrest affidavit.
The woman told police that they met at The Serena Hotel in Aventura for the first time on August 24 and that once inside a room, Sercle requested to smell her feet and buy her used shoes, states the affidavit.
“When I got there, he just wanted to sniff my feet and I didn’t feel comfortable with that,” the woman, who is choosing to remain anonymous, told Local 10.
“I mean, you could have my sneakers all you want. I mean, I don’t care. I’m not wearing them. And you know, they’re just stinky old sneakers.
“But people like weird things.”
The woman said would sell her shoes for $1,000 and that they were in her car. She told police that she went to use the bathroom and during that time, Sercle left the room and that she ran after him assuming that he was trying to steal from her.
She told police that she spotted him in the car park and that he drove past her, then “did a three-point turn and actually hit me with a car” and “ran me over”.
The woman suffered a road rash and bruises on her chest and arms.
She told the TV station: “By the grace of God, I’m still standing today.”
Sercle fled the hotel but was arrested in on Thursday, August 28, and charged with aggravated battery.
Investigators said Sercle has attacked other victims in a similar fashion, but charges for those crimes were not immediately known.
“I’ve never experienced anything like this before,” the woman said.
“I’ve met a lot of people who have foot fetishes, obviously, and nobody has ever done anything to this caliber.”
