Man Convicted Of Armed Robbery Drinks Bleach In Court After Guilty Verdict
In a Florida courtroom, a guy reportedly drank a cup of bleach after being found guilty of armed robbery.
Jermaine Bell, 38, was found guilty by a jury in a Miami-Dade County courthouse at the time of the incident, according to WPLG. According to reports, he fell ill right away and was taken to the hospital.
Bell made it through the trauma and is doing well, according to WPLG. But it’s still unclear how a cup of bleach ended up in the courtroom.
According to reports, Bell was sentenced to three years in prison for an incident from 2018 in which he brandished a revolver at manufacturing workers while posing as a courier.
Miami-Dade County Corrections and Miami-Dade police are looking into the incident, according to WPLG.
