Nigerians react as man calls out rising “pay-to-talk” culture among some women
A social media user has sparked a heated debate after listing what he described as the growing “requirements” some men allegedly face before even getting to know certain women.
According to him, before a man can get a woman’s number, he must first pay for her groceries.
Before getting fast replies, he must “stimulate” the conversation with money.
Before receiving pictures, he must fund her hair.
Before the first date, he must pay for her outfit.
Yet when the man asks for intimacy, she suddenly says it is “too early.”
He concluded by saying some women want to “play both sides” — collecting benefits while refusing any form of accountability.
