Lady who accused Rivers LGA chairman of ass@ulting her after exposing a dilapidated school in her area rejects N2.5 million paid into her account as compensation

Winnie Miller, the young lady who accused the chairman of Ahoada Local Government Area in Rivers state, Cheta Epelle of leading thugs to ass@ult her after she shared a video showing the dilapidated state of Community Secondary School, Odioku, a secondary school in her area, says she has rejected N2.5 million paid into her account by the chairman as compensation for the ass@ult.

In a post shared on Facebook some hours ago, Winnie said the money was paid into her account by the chairman as “bribe and compensation.” She stated that she cannot be bribed and never agreed for compensation to be made.  She added that she has been trying to return the money from the account it was sent from but hasn’t been able to as the bank has network issues.
