The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office claims that the event happened on campus Tuesday night. According to deputies, the victim was transported to the hospital by friends after visiting campus safety.
Joshua Mundia Arrest And Rape Charges: 19-year-Old Joshua Mundia Was Arrested At Nazareth College For Rape
A Nazareth College student was detained on Wednesday for raping another student the day before, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
A female student reported to campus security on the evening of November 29 that she had been sexually assaulted by someone she knew, according to MCSO.
Campus security alerted MCSO, and her friends took her to the hospital.
At 11:30 p.m., Nazareth College received a call, which sheriff’s officers reported responding to, and MCSO techs responded to the hospital.
Unfortunately, no fresh details on her or the accused were found because the Police have not yet released any.
Where Is Joshua Mundia Now?
Following an immediate investigation by the MCSO Major Crimes Unit, Pittsford resident Joshua Mundia was brought into custody.
The 19-year-old is being held accountable for rape in the third degree. $10,000 in cash, $30,000 in bonds, and $45,000 in partially-secured bonds were the conditions of his bail. He was sent back to the jail in Monroe County.
Mundia is now barred from Nazareth College and is the subject of a restraining order.
According to reports, the accused is being held, but little information is currently available about him due to the continuing investigation.
