It was just a s3xual affair, there was no dating or courting - Vanderpump star Scheana Shay

Brock Davies, husband of former Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay, has publicly taken accountability for cheating on her during her pregnancy, a revelation first made in her memoir My Good Side. In the latest episode of her podcast Scheananigans, the couple opened up about the infidelity and how they’ve worked through it.

Scheana said it would have been a “disservice” not to share such a major detail from her life in her book, adding that after “many conversations,” Brock ultimately supported her decision to include it. He used the podcast episode as a platform to express regret and to apologize.

When Scheana asked what led to the end of the affair, Brock admitted, “It was a s3xual affair … There was no dating. There was no courting. It was just purely that … meet up, and then we had s3x. And it happened multiple times over a three-week span.” The affair took place while they were living in San Diego during the pandemic.

Brock added, “This is not okay, I’m not doing this,” explaining that he eventually broke it off but then “compartmentalized it” and essentially buried the memory. He described this as a mental skill he had developed over time.

While he did not reveal the identity of the woman involved, Brock referred to himself as a “coward” and admitted he remained silent for nearly two years before finally coming clean to Scheana.

Scheana allowed Brock to speak more about his past, with Brock admitting that he once shrugged off consequences and struggled with feelings of failure, particularly in relation to fatherhood. He revealed he had previously been afraid to become a parent again, and used that fear as an excuse for his actions.

Scheana and Brock married in August 2021, shortly after welcoming their daughter, Summer Moon, in April of that year. Reflecting on their journey, Scheana said, “Sometimes it’s okay to stay after cheating disrupts your relationship,” emphasizing that Brock is now holding himself to a higher standard.

The couple shared that they are committed to moving forward, choosing to be transparent as they work through the aftermath together.
