“I’m sorry… I want to be better” — Singer, Qing Madi shares cryptic post amidst social media silence

Nigerian music star Qing Madi has sparked concerns online after posting a cryptic and emotional message to her Instagram story, following a noticeable absence from social media and swirling reports of mental health struggles.

The singer, who has kept a relatively low profile in recent weeks, wrote:

“I’m sorry I really am. I want to be better for u. I’m sorry to the fans that are worried sick. I love you to the moon. I don’t know how my private life got leaked and now I have to deal with the horrible reality.”

“I love u and always will. U are what’s keeping my head above water ❤️”

While Qing Madi didn’t reveal specific details, the message has led fans to believe she may be going through a deeply personal or emotional situation, possibly linked to her he@lth or privacy being violated.

Known for her soft-spoken, introspective nature and soulful voice, Qing Madi has in the past described her stage persona as an “alter ego,” admitting that the pressure of the spotlight sometimes clashes with her real self.

Since the post went live, fans and fellow artists have flooded social media with support and words of encouragement, many urging her to prioritise her well-being and take all the time she needs.
