“How can such a lie be held in high esteem?”

A viral illustration showing the difference between how kids, dads, and moms supposedly handle sick days sparked serious debate on social media — and Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck wasn’t here for it.

The cartoon depicts a child resting in bed, a father sleeping on the couch, and a visibly ill mom still cleaning, carrying a child, and doing chores. The message? Moms keep going even when they’re sick.

However, Odumodublvck challenged the narrative:

“THIS IS ONE OF THE FALLACIES THAT HAS EATEN DEEP INTO OUR BRAINS FOR A VERY LONG TIME. HOW CAN SUCH A LIE BE HELD IN HIGH ESTEEM.”
