Golf star, Tiger Woods was arrested in Florida on Friday following a crash and has since been released from custody.
Photos taken after his release from the Martin County Jail show the golf star appearing visibly upset as he was driven away. According to police, Woods was involved in an accident in Jupiter, where his vehicle reportedly struck another car and overturned. No injuries were reported.
Authorities said Woods was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and for refusing to submit to a urine test. However, a breathalyser test reportedly showed a 0.00 blood alcohol level, leading officers to suspect that he may have been under the influence of medication, citing his lethargic condition at the scene.
Police said Woods declined further testing at the station, which contributed to his arrest. He was released several hours later. The incident has drawn significant attention given Woods’ high-profile status in professional golf.
