Nigerian singer Skales has opened up about a turning point in his career, sharing a heartfelt testimony during a church service.
According to the music star, earlier this year was a very difficult period for him professionally. He said he fasted more than he ever had and cried out to God over how his career had stalled and how people were beginning to mock him.
Skales explained that while he and his team had plans they were working on, God had something entirely different lined up.
In his words, God “raised a kid in Barcelona,” football star Lamine Yamal, and everything changed after just one simple dance video went viral.
He revealed that he had written down several prayer requests and was shocked when all of them were answered in a single day.
Skales said the moment became even more surreal when he found himself editing a global Adidas advert, something he never imagined would happen so suddenly.
