Andre Onana is reportedly in talks to return to Inter Milan from Manchester United this summer after his agents held talks with the Serie A club.
According to Daily Mail Sport, the Cameroon goalkeeper’s representatives are in Milan this week to discuss a number of potential deals, including the possibility of Onana moving back to the San Siro.
He is currently on loan at Trabzonspor in Turkey after losing his place as United No1 to Senne Lammens when the Belgian moved from Royal Antwerp in September.
The 29-year-old is expected to leave permanently at the end of the season, and is being discussed as a possible replacement for Yann Sommer at Inter.
Onana was hugely popular during his one season at Inter in 2022-23 when he helped the club reach the Champions League final, losing narrowly to Manchester City in Istanbul, as well as winning the Italian Cup and Super Cup.
The former Barcelona and Ajax keeper who joined United for £47.2million still has two-and-a-half years left on his contract at Old Trafford, but United may have to pay him off to enable any deal to go through.
