A sprawling but rundown former farm near the Sandringham Estate is reportedly being lined up as Prince Andrew’s future home once he finally vacates Royal Lodge.
The disgraced former prince is rumoured to be moving to Marsh Farm, located about seven miles west of King Charles’s Sandringham House. The property, a former working farm, recently fell within an expanded no-fly zone covering parts of the Sandringham estate, fuelling speculation that it has been earmarked for Andrew.
Marsh Farm includes a main house with two reception rooms and a kitchen, along with several outbuildings, but sources say the property requires extensive renovation before it can be considered habitable. Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on Andrew’s reported relocation, citing privacy and security concerns.

A palace source said: “There are GDPR and rights of privacy involved so we will not be providing the name of the property. There are also security issues that are of relevance.”
The palace added that it would not discuss details of Andrew’s accommodation, stressing that the King’s brother is now regarded as a “private citizen” and that Sandringham is a “private estate”.
Andrew lost his Duke of York title and his status as a working royal after his links to convicted s3x offender Jeffrey Epstein became public. He was also stripped of his Knight of the Order of the Garter. The controversy deepened after reports emerged that Andrew had emailed Epstein months after claiming he had cut off contact.

The former prince agreed to surrender his lease at Royal Lodge following prolonged pressure from King Charles and the Royal Household, despite reportedly having a “cast iron lease”. He has until the end of October to leave the 31-room mansion, although sources suggest the move could take time due to logistical challenges.
An insider said: “Andrew has been told he is off to Marsh Farm. It needs an awful lot of work to be done before it’s habitable. It means we could be waiting a long time before he ever leaves Royal Lodge.”

Marsh Farm is currently vacant and unfurnished, with gardens overlooking Dersingham Bog, an area used for royal shoots, and views stretching toward The Wash. Nearby properties include Wood Farm Cottage, once home to Prince Philip, though it has reportedly been ruled out as a residence for Andrew.
While Andrew is said to have been allocated a home on the Sandringham Estate, his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, is believed to be seeking private accommodation elsewhere. Palace sources maintain there is no fixed date for Andrew’s move, although some of his belongings are said to have already been placed in storage.
Neighbouring businesses declined to comment on the reports, saying enquiries about properties on the Sandringham Estate should be directed to estate management.
