Following the killings of four Idaho students, Indiana State Police released Footage of Cops Stopping Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger twice.
According to NBC 13, the first arrest was made by a Hancock County Sheriff’s office at 10:41 am on December 15. He was given a warning by the deputy for following too closely.
Ten minutes later, a trooper with the Indiana State Police stopped Kohberger for speeding. Kohberger’s father, it was thought, was seated in the front passenger seat.
Kohberger had previously been stopped minutes before, so the trooper chose to let him go with a warning.
Kohberger, 28, was arrested early Friday morning and charged with murder and burglary. Kohbeger is a Ph.D. student and teaching assistant at Washington State University’s Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
He is charged with the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Madison Mogen on November 13. All of the victims were stabbed to death inside a nearby rental house off-campus.
He was ordered to return to Idaho within ten days after waiving extradition during a court proceeding on Tuesday. There, he will be charged with murder and burglary.
