Every Nigerian believes their problem is Tinubu - BBNaija star, Tacha calls on Nigerians to also hold governors, lawmakers accountable

Reality TV star, Natasha Akide popularly known as Tacha, has called out Nigerians for directing all their frustrations at President Bola Tinubu while ignoring the roles of governors, senators, and local government chairmen in governance.

In a video she shared on social media, Tacha referenced the Federation Account Allocation Committee’s recent disbursement of ₦2.2 trillion to the federal, state, and local governments, stressing that money is available but is being grossly mismanaged.

She said, “44 billion, I didn’t say million, 44 billion has been disbursed to a local government chairman. Watch how they’ll do absolutely nothing with it, because at the end of the day, they understand that Nigerians will come out and drag Tinubu. They’ll come out and drag the presidency.”

According to her, public outrage is often misdirected at the president or Lagos, which she described as one of the best performing states, while underperforming leaders at the grassroots escape scrutiny.

“It be like say only two people, Nigerians like to drag for this country. Every Nigerian has believed that their problem is Tinubu. Even with the fact that as little as a local government chairman’s office is, their responsibilities are a lot and they are absolutely doing nothing.

Money has been given to your state governors, money has been given to your local government chairman, your House of Reps members, your senators.

Hold them by their neck, let them deliver. If you start dragging these people individually, we’ll see that Nigeria will change” she said
