Evangelist Helen Akpabio speaks against Christians saying “happy birthday”; says it’s the language of the devil (video)

Evangelist Helen Akpabio speaks against Christians saying

Helen Akpabio has cautioned Christians against saying “happy birthday” on the anniversary of their birth.

The evangelist said this while preaching to her members.

She said: “I’m not somebody that does birthday every year, every year, every year, like zombie. And I don’t sell out my soul to satan like that. I don’t use the language of the devil. You won’t see birthday there, you’ll see ‘thanking God at 60’. It’s you people that are saying ‘happy birthday’.”

She went further to condemn Christians who sing happy birthday on God’s altar.

She suggested that people should say “happy thanksgiving”, not “happy birthday”.

She stated that saying “happy birthday” is “modern day idolatory”.

She added: “All these things are idolatry, Satan giving us a language. And the Bible says, don’t speak their language, don’t mention the name of their god, don’t share in their ceremonies.”

She pointed out that Christians have to vet everything before they say it, otherwise people will “turn your good intent of thanksgiving to another intent of honoring the day.

“Nobody has right to the day, every day belongs to Jesus,” she said.
