Eleanor Bowles Murder Suspect Antonio Brown Caught: A 77-year-old Atlanta woman was fatally stabbed over the weekend in her garage; a 23-year-old male has been detained and charged with her murder.
As previously reported by Newsy People, Eleanor Bowles was discovered dead in the garage of her Buckhead, Georgia, home by her son on Saturday as he was returning home for the holidays.
About a mile from the Georgia governor’s home, Atlanta Police say they think Antonio Brown entered the neighborhood and attempted to steal Bowles’ 2021 Lexus RS350. According to WSB, investigators think that Brown fled in the car after Bowles stopped the theft and was slain. Later, it was found in DeKalb County.
At a news conference on Monday, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens revealed that after police had released photographs from surveillance tape, a civilian noticed Brown and alerted police.
He was arrested and sent to the Fulton County Jail on charges of murder, aggravated violence, elder abuse, having a knife while committing a crime, and carjacking.
Deputy Chief Charles Hampton reported that “the son returned home to visit his mom for the holidays.” “A family shouldn’t have to spend their holiday season grieving the loss of a loved one,” the author said.
To support Bowles’ preferred organizations, the Atlanta Humane Society & Society For Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Georgia, friends, and family created a GoFundMe page.
