The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh student branch of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has complained that the text is given to law students is unsuitable and contains inappropriate material.

The main community supported the situation and demanded the arrest of the author who had displayed such writings because it contains highly offensive material on the Hindu community and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

When Dr. Farhat Khan was receiving dialysis in a hospital, she was detained as a result of her book’s chapter on “Collective Violence and the Criminal Justice System.” She received papers related to the case as she was being arrested.

Authorities have also opened an investigation into accusations concerning a different book.

Without going into more detail, the minister said that if such objectionable material is found, it will also be linked to the same case.

An ABVP leader and LLM student named Lucky Adiwal filed a complaint in the case against the book’s author and publisher, Dr. Inamur Rehman, the college’s principal, and professor Mirza Mojij Baig.

Authorities removed the other members from the charges because they were also involved in displaying the writing in addition to the author. They will soon be looked into and disciplined.

What Are the Legal Steps And Protests Related To The Matter?

An officer stated that the Indore Police had located the author, Khan, in Pune in relation to the contentious case. A notification was sent to her by an official in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure Rules (CrPC).

As a result of the ongoing protests, police officer teams have stated that they will write a letter to the relevant authorities requesting that Dr. Farhat Khan’s doctorate be revoked.

The case against Khan and others was also recorded under different sections of the Indian Penal Code, including section 153-A, and cites the escalating animosity between diverse groups based on race, religion, place of birth, and residence.

In addition, the 295-A clause refers to willful and intentional actions designed to offend any class by disparaging its religion or its beliefs.

Since he had nothing to do with the book’s placement in the library, the college’s principal defended his arrest by saying that he is innocent.
