The Divisional Police Officer DPO of the GRA Police station in Asaba, Delta state has been removed from office and sanctioned over claims of falsely accusing a good samaritan.

 

 

 

A Nigerian man, Tomi Wojuola, had taken to social media to recount how he was almost framed for m#rder after rushing a dy!ng man to the hospital. He said he took the man, who had collapsed on the road, to a hospital but that sadly the man d!ed. Tomi added that he approached a police station to file a police report but that during the filing of the report, the DPO accused him of m#rder and threatened to deal with him. Reacting vai X, the spokesperson of the command, SP Bright Edafe, said the DPO has been sanctioned and removed from office. The money extorted from the victim has since been refunded.
