Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC) has warned members against dating while jobless.
Speaking to his church members, he said relationships formed when one is penniless may be driven by necessity rather than genuine love. He added that when such people eventually gain financial stability, they may realise that the relationship is no longer fulfilling.
He said: “Don’t date when you’re jobless. There’re some relationships that are attractive, not because they are good, it’s because you have no money. When you have your own money, you’ll be surprised how you should have not fallen in love with some people.
“It’s not live induced, it’s hunger induced love.
