Doctor in critical condition after being attacked inside hospital by man who lost 9-year-old daughter  (video)

A doctor attached to the Government Taluk Hospital at Thamarassery in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, was on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, attacked by the father of an eight-year-old girl who did of amoebic meningoencephalitis on August 14.The child, Anaya, was first admitted to the Thamarassery Taluk Hospital with fever symptoms. Her condition worsened later and she succumbed to the infection while she was being taken to the Government Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode on August 14. The family members later alleged that Anaya was not given proper treatment at the taluk hospital. Two of her siblings were also infected with amoebic meningoencephalitis, but they recovered. According to sources, on October 8,  K.V.
