Samira Sheriff, the ex-wife of Maiduguri billionaire, Mohammed Indimi, has addressed a person she warned not to touch her child.
The mother of four daughters, including Adama and Meram, stated this on Instagram on Saturday, September 13 when she reposted a video by a clinical psychologist, Danish Bashir, about narcissistic men who want wives and kids but never truly want to be a husband or a father.
In the video, Bashir said; “They crave the image, the validation, the social approval that comes with having a family but they reject the responsibilities, the emotional presence and the selflessness that those roles require.
“They want to be seen as the man who has it all, the wife, the children, the home but they do not want to show up as the man those people can actually count on and when it comes to fatherhood, the same pattern repeats.
“Narcissistic men love the idea of being dad, they like posting pictures with their kids, being praised for the most basic acts and using heir children to validate their ego but they do not want to do the work, no they do not want to be there for the sleepless nights, the hard conversations, the daily presence that real parenting requires.
“They hand off the responsibility to the mother and when the child grows up emotionally distant or angry they blame her for not doing enough, never acknowledging their own emotional absence, these kinds of fathers are called deadbeat for a reason.”
Commenting on the video, Samira wrote: “Fake posting of your kids’ birthdays when you have no idea how or who they are. Sorry for your life. #deadbeat hahaha”
“Or should I tag you? Didn’t I warn you not to touch my child?”
