Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo was received by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday evening, July 22 during his visit to Nigeria.
Adarabioyo, 27, was part of the Chelsea squad that recently won the revamped FIFA Club World Cup, held in the United States.
Born in London to Nigerian parents, the centre-back is currently in Lagos to launch a grassroots football tournament.
Though Adarabioyo has represented England at various youth levels, he is yet to earn a cap for the senior national team. He has, however, been frequently linked with a potential switch to play for Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
