On Friday, March 28,  2014 the prestigious Civic  Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos played host to a bevy of celebrities, beauty enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, distributors and marketers as Fair and White Nigeria was unveiled and its highly efficacious range of beauty products ushered into the market with glamour, glitz and  beauty pageantry. 12 years later, history will be repeating itself as the brand is back in a celebratory mood and will on Friday April 24th, 2026 return to the same venue to celebrate all the ranges and variants on its stable to mark 30 years since it took the Nigerian cosmetics market by the storm.

As was the case in 2014, the event will be heralded by a beauty  pageantry. Termed “Miss Fair and White Beauty Pageant 2026”, the winner of the Miss Fair and White pageant will, in addition to becoming the brand Ambassador, smile home with N10m cash prize while the runner up will be rewarded with N7.5 million . The third place prize is N5million. A plethora of  consolation prizes also await other contestants.

 

A press statement by Ingram Osigwe, Media Adviser to Fair and White Nigeria Ltd, owners of the Fair and White range of beauty products in Nigeria, indicates that the beauty pageantry is open to young, beautiful Nigerian ladies within the age range of 18 – 25  upon payment of a non- refundable fee of N50,000. According to Osigwe,  registration closes March 31st, 2026.

Osigwe added that pageantry is open for sponsorship by banks and other corporate organisations and business associates of Fair and White Nigeria Ltd. According to him, “apart from offering sponsors a varied audience to market and promote their brands, goods or services, the Fair and White beauty pageantry will also allow sponsors share in, and enjoy Fair and White’s market unassailable mileage”
