Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the 2025 CAF Womens Goalkeeper of the Year award. Nnadozie won the inaugural edition of the award in 2023 and also claimed the individual accolade last year. The 24-year-old is widely regarded as the favorite to win the prestigious award for a third straight time this year.The shot-stopper was one of the top performers for Nigeria at the 2024 Womens Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where the Super Falcons won a record-extending 10th title. She was named the tournaments best goalkeeper.Nnadozie, who previously starred for Paris FC of France, also finished fourth in the 2025 Womens Yachine Trophy at the Ballon dOr awards, a new honor introduced this year for the world’s top female goalkeepers. She has been in scintillating form for her current English Womens Super League (WSL) club, Brighton & Hove Albion, since her arrival.
