A 2011 blog post attributed to Paystack co-founder Ezra Olubi has resurfaced online amid growing public scrutiny following his suspension from the company over allegations of s3xual misconduct and the circulation of disturbing old tweets and posts.

The blog entry, titled “Rants” and published in September 2011 on a personal blogging platform, is now gaining renewed attention after users began sharing screenshots across social media. The post contains several personal revelations in which the writer discusses extreme loneliness, frustrations with human relationships, and a desire to withdraw from social interaction, describing a preference for being alone with pet cats.

The most widely circulated portion of the blog includes explicit commentary in which the writer describes being “homos3xual, or bis3xual, or bicurious,” and goes on to narrate sexual fantasies involving a male colleague. In the post, the writer describes experiencing s3xual arousal when imagining the colleague rubbing their thighs, adding that the colleague unknowingly does this in real life and that it “actually excites” them. These statements have triggered intense reactions online, especially in light of other resurfaced s3xualised posts involving co-workers, animals, and m!nors.

Screenshots shared also include additional sections of the blog where the writer reflects on failed friendships, discomfort with people, and a desire to flee from everyday responsibilities. The resurfaced material is being widely discussed alongside the ongoing investigation into allegations facing Olubi.

Paystack confirmed on Wednesday that Olubi has been suspended from all duties pending the outcome of a formal internal investigation. The company stated that it takes allegations of misconduct seriously and will not make further comments until the review process is concluded.

The resurfacing of the blog post, coupled with the circulation of other explicit tweets and Instagram posts, has intensified public debate and scrutiny around professional conduct, workplace boundaries, and accountability within Nigeria’s tech ecosystem.
